When talking about the sun-scorching weather of the Las Vegas desert, locals always reply with comments like “it’s a dry heat” or “it’s not about the temperature…it’s about the humidity.” Arianny Celeste is yet another model born and raised in Sin City, so she’s used to it all. When we caught Arianny right after her daily workout, we thought that we were used to the type of heat we get. But I gotta tell you, sometimes the humidity ain’t all that bad.

2nr: So what is your workout routine like?
Arianny Celeste: I do different things on different days. For cardio, I do either the octagon or maybe a couple rounds of boxing, or I’ll do the elliptical for about 20 minutes. Today, I did my gluts and my hamstrings-I did a lot of squats today. I do my abs everyday, but I do them last.

2nr: You get into the ring? Every guy is willing to watch a good girl fight.
AC: I do it for the workout! For years I just went to the gym and did my own thing and never tried the ring. It’s great cardio. I train with one of the UFC trainers. I would fight, but it depends on who is on the other end.

2nr: Who would you use your UFC powers to protect?
AC: My little sisters. I’m a Scorpio, so if people do me wrong or betray me, I cut them off. I sting people if they get on my last nerve.

2nr: Is there someone you’d go toe-to-toe with in the octagon, maybe a neighbor?
AC: I would… get in the ring with this chick back in high school! No, Randy Couture! He’s awesome. I’m sure he could show me pointers.

2nr: Lets talk about your MMA “ground game.” When with an opponent, do you prefer “Guard” or “Mount?”
AC: I hate being on my back because I feel like I wouldn’t have any control. I would prefer mount-when I’m on top I can have better control. I could drop some elbows and hit ‘em in the face a couple times.

2nr: Could you say that over again, this time slower? Soften your voice a little. Oh and drop the last sentence. Thanks. Do you like seeing a particular move?
AC: It’s pretty exciting when you are sitting ringside and someone gets picked up and slammed to the ground. Sometimes I’m close enough to the action where sweat and blood fly in my direction.

2nr: With that, tell me about a guy you would consider dating.
AC: Since I’m more of a serious person I need someone that balances me out. I’d like someone that is a ‘people’ person, has a nice personality and makes me laugh. He needs to be independent and have his own life-’cause I have my own thing going on and I can’t be taking care of a boy!

2nr: Yeah! Who likes babysitting?
AC: I can’t be trying to make someone happy that’s not already happy with himself.

2nr: What are your three turn-ons?
AC: A sexy smile, tattoos and a nice body-but not a super muscular one, or one that’s too skinny…just someone bigger than me.

2nr: You are 5′5″ and 105 pounds. Everything is bigger than you. That’s a big range.

2nr: What do you do on your free time?
AC: I love singing. I’m trying to get my foot in the music world. I’m also a real movie nerd, so I love going to the movies. I’m too busy now, but when I had time I’d see all the newest movies every week. Although I like all types of movies, I have this thing for horror movies like “Saw” and “Hostel.” Oh and Bruce Willis movies!

2nr: Music?
AC: I love singing and music is a big part of my life. I listen to everything: Rock, pop, hip hop, country, classical. Everything.

2nr: Enough of this small talk. Let’s talk about your body. I know what my favorite part is, what’s yours? I’m talking about the part of your body that needs that extra love and attention-the part that deserves extra moisturizer because you do not want this particular part to fail…I’m ranting again. Sorry.
AC: My legs. I took gymnastics for eight years and they are pretty muscular. It’s the sexiest part of a woman’s body.

2nr: What’ s the part of your body that you would want to make “bigger-smaller-rounder-flatter?”
AC: I think I’d like to get my waist a little smaller-so that my butt would look bigger! Ok, well maybe I’d make my butt a little bigger too. I mean right now it’s nice and perky.

2nr: Gotcha. I’ll just put you down for an order of “thin waist” with a small side of “big butt.”

2nr: What were 5 things you were doing before you picked up my call?
AC: Hmmm. I had a protein shake, walked my dog, washed my hands… chilled on the couch and checked my myspace.

2nr: Have you traveled much?
AC: I’ve been to England and I’m going to Ireland in about a week. I’d love to see Spain or Italy. I’d ultimately want to see and experience different parts of the world.

2nr: How long have you been with UFC and what is in your future?
AC: June was my one-year anniversary with them and I gotta say that UFC treats us really well. They have us doing a lot of promos and advertising besides just being a ring girl. In five years? There are a few options. I can see myself doing a little modeling, but I only have a couple classes to go to get my fitness and nutrition degree. I’m hoping to have a husband…a family.

2nr: You shut your mouth! I saw your website picture-you don’t need to be putting anything in the “oven!”
AC: Well, not for a while. Oh and about the website…my guy is taking long to get it up but he’s good. I’m going to have a portfolio, some merchandise and maybe clips of me training.

2nr: Being a beautiful girl you must have more than a handful of pervs…i mean dudes… hitting you up. What’s something you don’t like?
AC: I don’t like it when people touch me without permission.

2nr: So the typical headlock or a random jiu-jitsu move is out of the question?
AC: I don’t like it when people touch me without permission.

2nr: Gotcha.

2nr: Here’s the scenario: You are simply hanging out. Flashbulbs are going off capturing you in digital format for all to see. In the picture, what drinks are you most likely holding?
AC: If it’s at the bar, I’m likely doing shots, maybe a lemon drop. If we’re chillin’, then maybe Redbull vodkas, the usual.

2nr: So either a sweet and tangy shot or a drink that keeps you up and angry.
AC: YES!

2nr: When we visit Vegas, where is the spot we are most likely to bump into you?
AC: The pool at the Palms. I have a lot of friends there and they always take care of me. It’s not too busy and it’s real chill and laid back. I always have a lot of fun at the Palms.

2nr: Where will we be seeing you in the next few months?
AC: Between UFC and Toyo, I’m really busy. I’ll be in Ireland soon with UFC. With Toyo I’ll be in Ft. Lauderdale, Seattle, and Minnesota. Oh! SEMA here in Vegas! Come see me!
